About Your New Employer

Our client is a company in the manufacturing services industry looking for a full-time HR Generalist to support their multiple sites across South/West Dublin.

This role would be fully onsite and rotating working at each site during the week and a suitable candidate would have the flexibility to travel by their own vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

About Your New Job

  • Service as first point of contact and guidance for all HR functions to managers on employee relations matters such as disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance issues.
  • Conduct initial employee relations investigations and prepare documents in line with company policies and Irish employment legislation
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job postings, screening, interviews and offers to assigned work sites.
  • Coordinate onboarding and induction programmes and ensure a smooth new hire experience.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in line with GDPR requirements
  • Prepare regular and updated HR reports
  • Support employee engagement and well-being programmes
  • Promote company values and culture
  • Support managers with employee probation and performance reviews
  • Coach managers on best practices for employee development and engagement
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant with Irish employment legislation
  • Assist with identifying training needs and coordinating learning initiatives
  • Support the delivery of HR trainings and workshops
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organisation

What Skills You Need

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role
  • Preferred experience in a manufacturing, production and/or retail environment
  • Experience supporting employee relations investigations
  • Degree in HR, Business or related field
  • Strong Microsoft Office and HRIS knowledge
  • Strong working knowledge of Irish employment law
  • CIPD qualification would be desirable
  • Experience working within a unionised environment would be desirable as well.

Additional Requirements

  • Full driving license and own vehicle
  • Ability to travel between work sites weekly
