About Your New Job
- Lead all day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, workforce planning, attendance management, employee records, and HR reporting.
- Partner with managers to provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, disciplinary and grievance processes, training, engagement, and people development.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and HR best practices while maintaining accurate HR systems, documentation, and supporting audits.
- Drive employee engagement and organisational development through effective communication, training initiatives, change management, continuous improvement, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Support strategic business objectives by managing workforce metrics, recruitment costs, accommodation allocation, union relationships, HR projects, and collaborating with operational and leadership teams.
What Skills You Need
- Degree or professional qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2+ years' HR experience, including at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
- Previous HR experience within a labour-intensive manufacturing, retail, or similar operational environment.
- Hands-on, onsite HR professional with strong coaching and mentoring skills, experienced partnering with managers and supervisors in a fast-paced, people-focused business.
