About Your New Employer

Our client is an organisation in engineering sector located in West Dublin. They are currently looking to bring on a full-time, permanent HR Business Partner to work an 18mth fixed-term contract.

This role will be on a hybrid working model with 3 days on site and 2 days remote (with flexibility to increase to 4 days). Candidates must be able to drive to the location, as public transport is not accessible.

About Your New Job

  • Lead and manage employee relations cases including grievances, disciplinaries, and performance management
  • Support HR Generalists on any ER matters including being present at meetings
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures across the organisation
  • Work closely with the L&D team to design and execute training initiatives to develop managers and employees’ skills
  • Oversee HR Administration accuracy including starter and leavers lists, contract amendments, and renewals.
  • Advise senior management and hiring managers on HR decisions, ensuring legal compliance within these conversations
  • Lead workforce planning, succession planning and organisational design
  • Support the implementation and adoption of new AI-driven HR tools across the department
  • Participate in the full redevelopment and rollout of HRIS and training the wider HR team
  • Design and coordinate training and onboarding programmes for HR Team
  • Support the HR Manager in covering director-level responsibilities during their maternity leave period
  • Lead HR projects as requested by management

 

What Skills you need:

  • 2+ years serving in an HRBP or senior HR role
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR
  • Ability to travel to other office locations when required
  • Hands-on employee relations experience with a strong knowledge of Irish employment law
  • Strong aptitude for Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Process oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and fixing operational gaps
