Our client is a company in the semi-state industry looking for a full-time HR Business Partner to join on a permanent basis.
This role will start fully on site for training and then transition to a hybrid working model, with the office located in Dublin 2.
About Your New Job
- Act as a strategic point of contact for assigned business units, aligning HR initiatives with organisational goals
- Build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, providing HR advice supporting workforce planning and decision making
- Provide regular updates and insights to the HRBP Lead and wider team highlighting key issues and solutions
- Review and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Irish and EU employment legislation, with a key focus on GDPR regulation
- Support governance activities, including audit requirements and escalate risks as needed
- Lead and deliver performance and probation management programmes, talent acquisition, employee retention, compensation and benefits and HR governance
- Lead recruitment activities for assigned business units, working with external partners to attract quality talent.
- Coach and guide managers on performance, probation and day-to-day people management
- Manage the employee lifecycle including onboarding, engagement, development and retention
- Handle employee relations processes in a timely manner
- Support the execution of People and Culture strategy
- Lead and contribute to HR projects
- Work closely with HR team, supporting overall team effectiveness and ensuring consistent delivery
What Skills You Need
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in HR Management or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in a semi-state, public sector or related sector is a plus
- Previous experience in using HRIS such as Bamboo HR
- Previous experience in Talent Acquisition and ownership of Recruitment Campaigns
- Strong working knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices
- Strong reporting skills and ability to interpret data
- Develop strong relations with key leaders and stakeholders
