About Your New Employer
Our client is a company in the semi-state industry looking for a full-time HR Business Partner to join on a permanent basis.
This role will start fully on site for training and then transition to a hybrid working model, with the office located in Dublin 2.
About Your New Job

  • Act as a strategic point of contact for assigned business units, aligning HR initiatives with organisational goals
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, providing HR advice supporting workforce planning and decision making
  • Provide regular updates and insights to the HRBP Lead and wider team highlighting key issues and solutions
  • Review and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Irish and EU employment legislation, with a key focus on GDPR regulation
  • Support governance activities, including audit requirements and escalate risks as needed
  • Lead and deliver performance and probation management programmes, talent acquisition, employee retention, compensation and benefits and HR governance
  • Lead recruitment activities for assigned business units, working with external partners to attract quality talent.
  • Coach and guide managers on performance, probation and day-to-day people management
  • Manage the employee lifecycle including onboarding, engagement, development and retention
  • Handle employee relations processes in a timely manner
  • Support the execution of People and Culture strategy
  • Lead and contribute to HR projects
  • Work closely with HR team, supporting overall team effectiveness and ensuring consistent delivery


What Skills You Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in HR Management or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience in a semi-state, public sector or related sector is a plus
  • Previous experience in using HRIS such as Bamboo HR
  • Previous experience in Talent Acquisition and ownership of Recruitment Campaigns
  • Strong working knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices
  • Strong reporting skills and ability to interpret data
  • Develop strong relations with key leaders and stakeholders
