About Your New Employer
Our client is a manufacturing company based in County Cavan. They are currently looking to bring on a full-time HR Administrator on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This role would be fully onsite and will require travel to recruitment events. Therefore, candidates must have their own transport and driving license.
About Your New Job
- Prepare letters of communication employees in accordance with HR policy
- Note taking in employee relations related meetings
- Support managers in performance management processes ensuring reviews, probations and performance are conducted in line with company policy
- Updating and maintaining leave trackers daily
- Monitor time & attendance, as well as compliance processes
- Assist with Reward & Recognition programmes
- Support recruitment including screening CVs, scheduling, and assisting with candidate interviews and completing reference checks
- Contract management including contracts of employment, legal entitlements and cessation documents
- Manage onboarding process alongside HR Generalist
- Update and maintain employee records for new hire and existing employees
- Management of leave entitlements to include sick, holidays, maternity, paternity & parents’ leave
- Assisting with weekly payroll administration
- Assist with training administration
- Organisation of weekly on-site Occupational Health appointments
- Supporting the HR team with wellbeing programmes and initiatives
What Skills you need:
- 1-2 years of experience in an HR Admin or similar role
- Third level qualification in HR or CIPD qualified
- Experience working in the manufacturing industry would be ideal
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be proactive
- Understanding of employment legislation and practices in Ireland
