Health and Safety Officers required in Limerick (Junior and Experienced)

About Your New Job as a Junior Health and Safety Officer you will:
- Ensure Compliance: As the Health and Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Project Information: Working our and carrying out safety audits on a large scale commercial project across sites Limerick on a large scale residential project.
- Conduct Inspections: Regularly inspect sites to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
- Training and Education: Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety practices and procedures.
- Incident Management: Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
What Skills You Need
- Experience: Minimum of ideally 1 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry or a recent graduate for the Junior role or 3 years experience for the Health and Safety Officer role.
- Driving License: Ideally, you should be a car driver to travel between sites once this one has reached complation, all will be in the Limerick region though.
- Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills to identify hazards and implement safety measures.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively train and guide staff.
