About Your New Job
As the Health & Safety Officer, you will support the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the company’s Health & Safety Management System across multiple sites.
Main Responsibilities: 
  • You will assist in enforcing Health & Safety policies and conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety observations.
  • You will deliver toolbox talks, site inductions, and safety briefings to ensure a safe working environment.
  • You will investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, and support corrective actions, liaising closely with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • You will help maintain compliance with Irish Health & Safety legislation and company standards, ensuring all safety records are accurate and up-to-date.
What Skills You Need
  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (Level 7 or higher preferred).
  • Previous experience working in construction or mechanical services.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with site teams and management.
  • Full clean driving license.
