About Your New Job
- Ensure compliance with current health & safety legislation across active sites.
- Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Support project teams in implementing and maintaining the site-specific Safety Statement and Method Statements.
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings to site personnel and subcontractors.
- Investigate and report any incidents or near misses, recommending preventive actions.
- Maintain health & safety documentation and support continuous improvement.
- Assist with induction training for new employees and subcontractors.
What Skills You Need
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction industry.
- Relevant H&S qualification (e.g., Higher Cert/Diploma in Health & Safety or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Full driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites if required.
