About Your New Job
- Lead Production, Supply Chain, Quality, HSE, and Industrial Engineering: As the Head of Manufacturing, you will oversee these critical areas to ensure smooth operations.
- Strategic Planning: Translate project demand into capacity plans, production schedules, and resource plans.
- Supplier Strategy: Own supplier strategy, including selection, performance reviews, and dual-sourcing where needed.
- Quality Management: Ensure a robust QMS is in place, including NVRs, audits, and inspections.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements in lead time, productivity, layout, and flow.
- HSE Performance: Own HSE performance on the shop floor, ensuring safe systems of work, training, and incident management.
What Skills You Need
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years in a senior manufacturing management role, preferably with engineered-to-order products.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and management abilities to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Lean Manufacturing: Experience in implementing lean manufacturing principles and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and quality management systems, such as ISO certifications.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing software systems.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
