West Dublin | Hybrid (4 Days Onsite) | €120,000 – €150,000 + Benefits
Our client, a large and highly successful SME based in West Dublin, is seeking to appoint an experienced Head of Group Financial Reporting to lead the financial reporting function across multiple entities within the group.
This is a senior leadership position offering the opportunity to play a key role in driving financial control, reporting excellence, and group consolidation activities within a dynamic and growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all group financial reporting activities across multiple legal entities.
- Manage the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee the consolidation of financial results across the group, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, controls, and systems.
- Partner with senior management to provide insightful financial analysis and reporting.
- Coordinate year-end audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Lead, develop, and mentor members of the finance team.
- Support strategic projects, acquisitions, integrations, and business growth initiatives as required.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following essential criteria:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Trained within a Top 10 Accountancy Practice.
- A minimum of 8 years' post-qualification experience, with a strong progression within industry-based finance roles.
- Significant experience within distribution, manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, supply chain, or a similar multi-entity environment.
- Proven experience managing financial reporting for multiple entities.
- Strong hands-on experience with group consolidations.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively at senior finance leadership level.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and commercial acumen.
