Head of Finance – FMCG / Manufacturing (SME Focus)
Location: West Dublin (Office-Based)
Salary: Up to €110,000
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Head of Finance to join a growing SME within the FMCG / Manufacturing sector, based in West Dublin. This is a key leadership role, ideal for a candidate currently operating at a similar level within a comparable environment who is looking to make a meaningful impact on business performance and strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full finance function, ensuring robust financial control and governance across the business
- Partner with senior leadership to drive strategic growth, providing insightful financial analysis and guidance
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning processes
- Develop, mentor, and strengthen a high-performing finance team
- Implement and improve financial systems, processes, and controls in line with business growth
- Support commercial decision-making with clear, data-driven insights
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory reporting requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Head of Finance (or equivalent senior finance leadership) role within FMCG or Manufacturing
- Strong background in SMEs; candidates from large multinationals without SME exposure will not be considered
- Demonstrated expertise in financial control, team leadership, and process improvement
- Track record of contributing to the strategic growth and scaling of a business
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at senior level
- Hands-on approach with the flexibility to operate both strategically and operationally
