About Your New Job

As the Head of Finance, you will lead the financial strategy, operations, and planning function for the business. You will play a critical role in enabling scale, improving financial performance, and ensuring the leadership team has clear visibility into commercial outcomes.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development of financial strategy to support long-term growth.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities, market trends, and commercial partnerships.
  • Provide the Leadership Team with strategic financial insights to support decision-making.
  • Oversee all financial operations including AP, AR, payroll, and cash management.
  • Maintain strong internal controls, policies, and statutory compliance (VAT, tax, audit).
  • Manage external financial relationships including auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
  • Deliver accurate management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and KPI reporting.
  • Analyse profitability and performance, collaborating closely with business managers
  • Lead company-wide budgeting and ensure client budget processes run effectively.
  • Identify efficiencies to optimise programme and engagement profitability.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the finance team.
  • Implement and enhance financial systems and processes to support scaling.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the COO and leadership team.

What Skills You Need

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA)
  • Previous demonstrable experience in a senior finance leadership role
