My client within the FMCG Space in West Dublin have a requirement for an experienced Finance professional, qualified with 8 years or more pqe and a number of years working within an SME in the FMCG, Logistics Industry. You must have this industry exposure to apply for this role (Also must be coming from an SME rather than a large multi-national). You will have extensive experience managing all aspects of finance and the day to day running of a busy finance team

- Support business growth of the company from a financial control perspective
- Ensure financial reporting and practices are in line with statutory law and corporate control procedures
- Adherence to IFRS and local statutory accounting standards,
- Provide expert analysis and evaluations on financial, accounting, planning & forecasting and cost in order to improve the results of the organization
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of the tax returns through proper supervision and review
- Maintain effective internal control system and liaise with external and internal auditors on improvement of internal control procedure
- Ensure the consistency of financial processes and procedures, and continuously optimizes to gain efficiency
What skills you need
- Qualified Accountant with 10 years pqe and worked within a number 1 or 2 SME - within the FMCG Industry - this is a must
- Extensive experience in managing day to day running of finance
- experienced working with a company that experienced high growth
