Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are now seeking an experienced Ground Worker to join their team on an active site in the Leinster region.
About Your New Job
As a Ground Worker, you will be an essential part of the site team, supporting the delivery of groundwork and civil engineering activities. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with solid site experience who is confident working in a fast-paced construction environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out groundwork duties including drainage, ducting, kerbing, and concreting.
- Assisting with excavation and preparation of sites for foundations and services.
- Operating hand tools and small plant equipment safely and effectively.
- Working alongside plant operators and other trades to ensure smooth site operations.
- Laying pipes and assisting with utility installations.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in line with health and safety regulations.
- Following all site instructions and adhering strictly to safety procedures at all times.
What Skills You Need
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience working as a Ground Worker on construction or civil projects.
- A valid Safe Pass (essential).
- Manual Handling certification (essential).
- Experience with drainage, concrete works, and general site preparation.
- Strong awareness of on-site health & safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
