Role Overview
A global organisation is scaling its Digital & Data Platform (DDP) across international markets following a successful North America rollout. As part of this expansion, a Senior Director of Solution Architecture will lead the design, assessment, and deployment of enterprise-scale platform capabilities across EMEA, APAC, and Latin America.
This is a high-impact leadership role, acting as the bridge between an established platform and the complexities of international markets — balancing global standardisation with regional flexibility.
You’ll work closely with business leaders, product teams, and technology stakeholders to shape architecture strategy and deliver transformation at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead solution architecture strategy for global expansion of a digital enterprise platform
- Assess existing platform capabilities and map them to international business needs
- Design scalable solutions across ERP, supply chain, order management, and customer experience systems
- Define future-state architecture models aligned to global standards
- Identify gaps and translate them into practical, scalable solutions
- Drive architecture decisions across integration, security, performance, and scalability
- Collaborate with regional stakeholders to understand market-specific requirements and constraints
- Lead capability assessments, roadmaps, and solution design initiatives
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architecture and delivery teams
- Support phased rollout strategies across multiple regions
- Drive innovation through cloud-first, AI-enabled, and modern platform approaches
Requirements
- 15+ years’ experience in enterprise solution architecture or digital transformation
- Proven track record delivering large-scale global transformation programmes
- Strong expertise in ERP ecosystems, enterprise platforms, and supply chain systems
- Experience designing scalable, integrated, cloud-based architectures
- Deep understanding of international business environments and localisation challenges
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Experience working in complex, matrixed global organisations
- Knowledge of core processes (OTC, P2P, RTR, planning, logistics, warehousing)
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps environments
Nice to Have
- Experience deploying platforms across EMEA, APAC, or Latin America
- Background in distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environments
- Exposure to AI, automation, or intelligent workflow platforms
- Experience with global ERP transformation or harmonisation programmes
