About Your New Job

As a Senior Regulatory Manager, you will:

  • Lead complex regulatory assessments and ensure robust, evidence-based decisions across the AHB sector.
  • Oversee compliance monitoring, evaluate progress and recommend regulatory responses.
  • Promote consistency and quality across the assessment programme, supporting continuous improvement of regulatory methodologies.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, recommendations, and briefing material for senior management.
  • Provide technical advice to colleagues and build constructive relationships with regulated entities while maintaining independence.
  • Work closely across regulatory divisions to deliver coordinated regulatory outcomes and contribute to organisational projects and policy development.

What Skills You Need

  • Relevant third-level qualification (minimum Level 7 NFQ) or professional qualification related to regulation, finance, audit, inspection, or compliance.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in regulation, governance, audit, inspection, finance, investigation, enforcement, or compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills to interrogate complex data and generate clear, evidence-based insights.
  • Report writing experience with ability to make clear recommendations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Leadership and project management capabilities (desirable).
  • Line management experience and familiarity with large or complex organisations (desirable).
