A prestigious and well-established hotel in County Offaly is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Front Office Manager to lead its busy reception team. Known for exceptional guest experiences and high standards of service, the hotel offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional to oversee daily front office operations and ensure a warm, professional and seamless experience for all guests.

About Your New

  • Manage and lead the Front Office and Reception team, including staff rotas, training and performance.
  • Oversee daily reception operations, including guest check-ins, check-outs, room allocations and billing.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service, handling guest queries and complaints professionally.
  • Liaise with Housekeeping, Reservations and other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
  • Support revenue generation through upselling, room upgrades and the coordination of groups, weddings and VIP arrivals.

What Skills You Need

  • Previous experience in a Front Office Manager, Reception Manager, Assistant Manager or senior hotel reception role.
  • Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience managing staff rotas, daily operations and hotel Property Management Systems; HotSoft experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
