Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join their busy warehouse team in Greenogue.
About Your New Job
As a Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in the day-to-day warehouse operation by ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched safely and efficiently. This role requires excellent attention to detail, a strong commitment to health & safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a fast-paced team.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Operating counterbalance and/or reach forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading deliveries while ensuring goods are handled with care.
- Moving stock to designated storage locations within the warehouse.
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch when required.
- Carrying out daily forklift safety checks and reporting any defects or maintenance issues.
- Accurately scanning and recording stock movements using warehouse systems.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Working closely with warehouse colleagues and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.
- Adhering to all health & safety procedures and wearing the appropriate PPE at all times.
What Skills You Need
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential).
- Reach Truck experience and certification would be an advantage.
- Manual Handling certification (preferred).
- Strong awareness of warehouse health & safety procedures.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- A reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
