About Your New Job
- Intermediate / senior engineer (approximately 5 plus years if possible)
- Prepare Fire Safety Certificates - experience within residential sector would be a bonus.
- Prepare Disable Access Certificates - experience within residential sector would be a bonus.
- Conduct technical inspections part B & M inspections in line with the BCAR requirements and building regulations.
- Proficient in Revit / AutoCAD
- Understanding of the TGD B & M Irish regulations.
- Able to conduct fire risk assessments.
- Technical report writing.
- Review and comment on technical submittals if required.
- Level 8 bachelor's degree in fire engineering, chartered or working towards chartership.
What Skills You Need
- Level 8 Bachelor’s degree (Honours) in Fire Engineering or a closely related Built Environment discipline (e.g., Engineering, Architecture, Building Surveying, Construction Management).
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership is highly valued.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in the residential sector for both Fire Safety and Disability Access Certificates.
- Familiarity with Irish Standards for Fire Safety.
- Analytical and detail-oriented.
- Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Good organisational and time management skills
