About Your New Job

  • Intermediate / senior engineer (approximately 5 plus years if possible)
  • Prepare Fire Safety Certificates - experience within residential sector would be a bonus.
  • Prepare Disable Access Certificates - experience within residential sector would be a bonus.
  • Conduct technical inspections part B & M inspections in line with the BCAR requirements and building regulations.
  • Proficient in Revit / AutoCAD
  • Understanding of the TGD B & M Irish regulations.
  • Able to conduct fire risk assessments.
  • Technical report writing.
  • Review and comment on technical submittals if required.
  • Level 8 bachelor's degree in fire engineering, chartered or working towards chartership.

 

What Skills You Need

 

  • Level 8 Bachelor’s degree (Honours) in Fire Engineering or a closely related Built Environment discipline (e.g., Engineering, Architecture, Building Surveying, Construction Management).
  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartership is highly valued.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in the residential sector for both Fire Safety and Disability Access Certificates.
  • Familiarity with Irish Standards for Fire Safety.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Good organisational and time management skills
