About Your New Job

  • Financial Management & Reporting:

    • Develop annual budgets in conjunction with the Senior Management Team.
    • Produce monthly management accounts for presentation to Senior Management
    • Ensure robust cash flow management and expenditure controls.
    • Oversee procurement processes and related third-party contracts.
    • Maintain internal controls and risk management framework.
    • Manage the finance function and its members appropriately.
    • Manage government grants, external funding applications, and donation income.
    • Manage the annual external financial audit process and internal audit cycle.
  • Compliance & Governance:

    • Manage compliance with Companies Registration Office, Charities Regulatory Authority, and other mandatory reporting requirements.
    • Work with the Internal Audit provider to deliver reports to the FAR Committee.
    • Ensure timely submission of applicable Revenue Commissioners tax returns and compliance with VAT regulations.
    • Responsibility for data protection compliance (GDPR) and staff training.
    • Oversight of payroll and work with the Pension Advisor on the company pension plan administration.
  • Administration & IT:

    • Oversee management of IT systems, including internal infrastructure, visitor interface systems, and telecommunications.
    • Coordinate insurance coverage, ensuring a professional working relationship with the company broker and insurers.

What Skills You Need

  • Professional qualification in Financial/Management accountancy (ACA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Minimum seven years' financial management experience, including management roles.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with IT systems.
  • Commitment to professional development.
