About the Company:
Our client is a leading player in the energy sector, focused on delivering innovative solutions for a sustainable future. With a strong commitment to growth and operational excellence, they are seeking a talented Financial Controller to join their dynamic team.
About Your New Job:
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Manage the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency.
What Skills You Need:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar financial management or controller role.
- Strong technical accounting skills and up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards.
- Experience in the energy, renewables, or infrastructure sector is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
