Financial Accountant role with a growing Irish SME based in Dublin City (Hybrid Working).
About Your New Job
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping in Xero, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and expense tracking.
- Prepare and file VAT returns and ensure full compliance with Irish tax and accounting regulations.
- Manage and reconcile POS systems across all locations, ensuring accurate integration and reporting.
- Oversee stock control and inventory management across six (soon to be seven) locations.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow statements, and financial reports for review with the CFO.
- Process payroll and ensure PAYE and statutory filings are completed accurately and on time.
- Liaise with suppliers, clients, and the external accountant to ensure smooth and accurate financial operations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Continuously improve financial processes, controls, and reporting to support ongoing growth.
What Skills You Need
- Accounting qualification (e.g, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance management.
- Proficient in Xero (required).
- Experience with POS management and stock control across multiple locations.
- Strong understanding of VAT, payroll, and Irish tax compliance.
- Candidates must have a Stamp 4 or EU Passport.
