About Your New Job

As the Financial Accountant, you will:

  • Lead the month-end close process for Group entities, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of management accounts.
  • Drive the development and enhancement of financial systems and reporting tools in line with the Group’s digital finance transformation objectives.
  • Maintain integrity of the general ledger, including preparation and review of journals, accruals, and month-end adjustments.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and working capital analyses to support key decision-making.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and compliance with statutory and VAT requirements.
  • Oversee bank and cash reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate closely with operational teams and support Accounts Payable/procurement processes.
  • Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor requests as needed.

What Skills You Need

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA) with 3-5 years’ post-qualification experience in financial or management accounting.
  • Proven track record in the construction, contracting, or project-based environment highly desirable.
  • Strong IT/financial systems skills and experience supporting finance transformation projects.
  • Excellent understanding of financial controls, reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
