About Your New Job
As the Financial Accountant, you will:
- Lead the month-end close process for Group entities, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of management accounts.
- Drive the development and enhancement of financial systems and reporting tools in line with the Group’s digital finance transformation objectives.
- Maintain integrity of the general ledger, including preparation and review of journals, accruals, and month-end adjustments.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and working capital analyses to support key decision-making.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and compliance with statutory and VAT requirements.
- Oversee bank and cash reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of issues.
- Collaborate closely with operational teams and support Accounts Payable/procurement processes.
- Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor requests as needed.
What Skills You Need
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA) with 3-5 years’ post-qualification experience in financial or management accounting.
- Proven track record in the construction, contracting, or project-based environment highly desirable.
- Strong IT/financial systems skills and experience supporting finance transformation projects.
- Excellent understanding of financial controls, reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
