About Your New Job as a Finance Manager

As the Finance Manager, you will:

  • Lead, supervise and develop a team of Senior Finance Officers, Finance Officers, and Finance Assistants to ensure efficient financial operations.
  • Prepare group financial projections, budgets, cashflow forecasts, annual revenue, and capital budget models for the Association and related companies.
  • Oversee management and financial accounting services, financial systems and procedures, payroll, pension schemes, and statutory monitoring returns.
  • Play a key role in strategic business planning, internal controls, and continuous improvement projects across the Association.

What Skills You Need as a Finance Manager

  • Fully qualified accountant (recognised accounting body).
  • Significant experience in financial management, reporting, and leading a team.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, compliance, business partnering, and systems development within a regulated environment.
  • Advanced IT literacy with financial systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
