We are seeking an organised and detail-focused Financial Administrator to join a busy finance team on a maternity cover contract. Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile daily bank transactions and maintain accurate cash records.
- Process bank lodgements and ensure timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and post financial journals with a high degree of accuracy.
- Manage customer statements and respond to account-related queries.
- Support month-end processes and assist in meeting reporting deadlines.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Provide administrative support across the wider finance function as required.
About You
You will be a proactive and reliable individual with strong numerical and organisational skills, capable of working independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational, time management and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Experience in a finance, accounts or administrative role.
Desirable
- Experience using accounting software.
- Business, finance or accounting qualification.
