About Your New Job
- Technical Tasks: As a Service Engineer, you will perform a diverse range of technical tasks including installation, service, repair, overhaul, and upgrades of packaging machinery.
- Customer Service: Dedicate yourself to delivering first-class customer service, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Work Demands: Navigate varying work demands under pressure and tight schedules, both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility: Be flexible with occasional weekend work, early starts, and late finishes to meet dynamic business needs.
What Skills You Need
- Qualifications: Ideally, you have served a recognised Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship and possess relevant qualifications.
- Industry Experience: A background in the service/maintenance industry is essential.
- Technical Knowledge: Detailed knowledge in electrical fault-finding and understanding electrical and pneumatic drawings.
- Machinery Experience: Experience working with packaging machinery and controls such as IPC, PC, and MC controls, Servo, and AC drives.
- Additional Skills: Experience in Robotic systems and Thermoforming is advantageous, but comprehensive training will be provided.
- Personal Attributes: A self-motivated and conscientious individual dedicated to delivering excellent customer service.
