About Your New Job

  • Technical Tasks: As a Service Engineer, you will perform a diverse range of technical tasks including installation, service, repair, overhaul, and upgrades of packaging machinery.
  • Customer Service: Dedicate yourself to delivering first-class customer service, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Work Demands: Navigate varying work demands under pressure and tight schedules, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible with occasional weekend work, early starts, and late finishes to meet dynamic business needs.

What Skills You Need

  • Qualifications: Ideally, you have served a recognised Electrical/Mechanical apprenticeship and possess relevant qualifications.
  • Industry Experience: A background in the service/maintenance industry is essential.
  • Technical Knowledge: Detailed knowledge in electrical fault-finding and understanding electrical and pneumatic drawings.
  • Machinery Experience: Experience working with packaging machinery and controls such as IPC, PC, and MC controls, Servo, and AC drives.
  • Additional Skills: Experience in Robotic systems and Thermoforming is advantageous, but comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Personal Attributes: A self-motivated and conscientious individual dedicated to delivering excellent customer service.
