Factory Operative
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Factory Operative to join our team at our facility in Cork City.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join an established company, with a structured induction period and the opportunity to increase your hourly rate after 6 months.
The Role
As a Factory Operative, you will work as part of the factory, production and warehouse team, supporting the day-to-day handling, preparation and movement of products and materials.
Your duties will include:
- Receiving and moving materials and finished products.
- Picking and preparing customer orders.
- Loading and unloading deliveries.
- Preparing pallets and products for dispatch.
- Moving stock around the warehouse and production areas.
- Assisting with factory and production duties.
- Following stock control and product identification procedures.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Following all health & safety and quality procedures.
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production and dispatch requirements.
What’s on Offer
- Day Shift: €15.00 per hour
- Evening Shift: €17.50 per hour (includes a €2.50 evening premium)
- Monday to Friday working week
- Day Shift: Monday–Thursday, 8:00am–4:30pm; Friday, 8:00am–3:30pm
- Evening Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:00pm–12:30am
- Shift pattern will generally alternate between one week of day shifts and one week of evening shifts
- Full training provided
Requirements
- Previous factory, warehouse or production experience is an advantage but not essential
- A full, clean driving licence is desirable
- Access to a car is desirable due to the location and evening shift pattern
- A reliable and flexible approach to working different shifts
