They are looking for a Facilities Assistant to support the day-to-day running of their buildings, ensuring a safe, functional and high-quality environment for members, visitors and colleagues.
About Your New Role
This is a hands-on Facilities Assistant role involving building checks, maintenance, office moves and setups, contractor coordination and day-to-day member support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily building, facilities and safety checks
- Coordinate cleaning, maintenance contractors and suppliers
- Manage maintenance requests, repairs and maintenance logs
- Complete minor repairs and general maintenance tasks
- Manage facilities stock, supplies and consumables
- Safely move furniture, equipment and deliveries
- Support Health & Safety and Fire Safety compliance
- Coordinate member move-ins, move-outs, office setups and reconfigurations
- Manage meeting room setups, turnovers and on-site support
- Respond to day-to-day member facilities requests
- Provide support and cover for Front of House and Post Room teams
- Role will be based between the City Centre & Blackrock premises
What You Need
- Ideally previous experience in facilities, maintenance or property support
- Practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers and maintenance jobs
- Ability to prioritise reactive issues while managing routine tasks
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using online platforms, CRMs and databases
- Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently
- Professional & client facing approach
