About Your New Job
- As the Facilities, Utilities & Energy Manager, you will lead all facilities, utilities, and energy management activities for the site.
- You will ensure effective operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the site's utilities, driving compliance and operational excellence.
- You will head up the site’s Energy Management Programme, align with ISO 50001 standards, and support all GMP manufacturing operations.
- You will develop and monitor KPIs, manage budgets, and carry out projects to improve reliability, operational efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Acting as Business Continuity Coordinator, you will represent the site globally and promote energy awareness within the organisation.
What Skills You Need
- Third-level qualification in engineering, facilities management, energy management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience (ideally in the pharmaceutical sector).
- 7+ years’ experience in facilities, utilities, energy management, or engineering in a manufacturing/regulated environment.
- Leadership experience managing teams (ideally in a matrixed environment) and driving cross-functional initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of preventive maintenance programmes, utility systems, energy efficiency, ISO 50001, GMP, and EHS.
- Demonstrated excellence in budget management, KPI tracking, and strategic operational improvements.
- Strong IT skills with advanced use of CMMS, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
