They are currently seeking an experienced Electrical General Operative to join their team on a commercial building project in North Dublin.
About the Role
This is a role for an experienced Electrical General Operative working on a commercial construction project in North Dublin. The primary responsibilities will involve pulling cables and installing conduit, supporting electricians with day-to-day installation works, and ensuring the project progresses safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
Pulling, feeding, and routing electrical cables through conduit, trunking, and cable trays
Installing and securing conduit, trunking, cable trays, and associated containment systems
Assisting electricians with electrical installation works throughout the commercial building
Cutting, measuring, and preparing conduit and containment materials for installation
Drilling, fixing brackets, and installing supports for cable containment systems
Assisting with cable identification, labelling, and general cable management
Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Following site health and safety procedures and instructions from supervisors and electricians
Ensuring all materials and equipment are handled correctly and work is completed to a high standard
Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience working as an Electrical General Operative on a commercial construction site
Experience pulling cables and installing conduit, trunking, or cable containment systems
Familiarity with basic electrical installation tools, materials, and equipment
Valid Safe Pass card
Manual Handling certification
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively alongside electricians and other trades
Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to health and safety
Ability to work independently when required and contribute to a busy site team
Previous experience on large-scale commercial projects is an advantage
