About the Role

This is a permanent position for a qualified Electrician working on public lighting installations and maintenance projects throughout Dublin. The role is fully mobile, covering multiple sites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of public lighting systems and associated electrical infrastructure

  • Fault finding and corrective repairs on lighting networks

  • Ensuring all work is carried out in line with current safety regulations and industry standards

  • Completing works efficiently while maintaining high quality and safety standards

  • Liaising with supervisors and team members to ensure works are completed on schedule

Skills & Experience Required

  • Recognized Electrical Qualification (e.g. QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – Electrical)

  • Valid Safe Pass card

  • Manual Handling certification

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a qualified electrician

  • Experience with outdoor, infrastructure, or public lighting works is an advantage but not essential

  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

  • Full driving license preferred due to the mobile nature of the role
