About Your New Job

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will:

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, panels, and systems across the site to ensure continuous operation.
  • Install, wire, and maintain industrial communication systems, heavy-duty electrical equipment, and perform quality testing and inspections.
  • Record activities using CMMS and provide out-of-hours support as part of an on-call rota, including plant start-up and shutdown operations.
  • Collaborate with process and production personnel, proactively addressing operational and control concerns.
  • Maintain strict health and safety standards, participate in technical problem-solving and fault finding, and deliver innovative technical solutions.

What Skills You Need

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant electrical experience in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Electrical National Craft Certificate essential.
  • Strong fault diagnosis and troubleshooting skills with the ability to read complex electrical drawings and P&IDs.
  • Advantageous: Experience with Rockwell/Allen Bradley Control Systems and PLCs, Endress and Hauser and ABB instrumentation, Auma actuators, and ATEX zoned areas.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
