About Your New Job
In this position, you’ll be responsible for the electrical installation and commissioning of conveyor control systems within Dublin Airport. Your work will include installing containment, cabling, control panels, and field devices, as well as terminating and testing systems in line with project specifications.
You’ll work with PLC-controlled conveyor systems, including integration of SEW drives and Profinet networks, ensuring all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, supervisors, and other trades to support project delivery and meet deadlines.
What Skills You Need
- Proven experience as an Installation Electrician, ideally within industrial or infrastructure projects
- Experience working with conveyor control systems
- Strong knowledge of PLC-controlled systems
- Experience with SEW drives and Profinet networks
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- IPAF certification
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and site procedures
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to meet project demands
