About Your New Job

As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for keeping wind turbines operating safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on, field-based role with real responsibility and technical variety.

In this role, you will:

  • Carry out service, maintenance, and repair works on wind turbines
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems
  • Perform fault-finding and complete accurate technical reports
  • Work at heights while strictly following safety rules, site procedures, and environmental standards
  • Take part in a weekend emergency call-out rota as part of a close-knit technical team

What Skills You Need

To apply, you will need:

  • To be a Qualified Electrician or hold an Electrical Engineering / Marine Electrotechnology qualification
  • A full clean Irish Category B driving licence
  • To be physically fit and able to pass a Working at Heights Medical
  • A valid Safe Pass card
  • Flexibility for weekend work, evening availability, and occasional nationwide travel

Candidates should live within 50 minutes of Bantry, ideally within 45 minutes.
