About Your New Role

The client is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day delivery of electrical works on commercial fit-out projects. The successful candidate will lead site teams, ensure installation quality and compliance with specifications, and coordinate with project managers, main contractors, and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate electrical site activities, ensuring works are carried out safely and to company standards.

  • Manage electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors on site.

  • Review and interpret drawings, technical submittals, and specifications.

  • Plan daily and weekly work schedules in line with project programs.

  • Liaise with the project manager, main contractor, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow.

  • Oversee material requests, deliveries, and on-site logistics.

  • Conduct quality checks and ensure all installations comply with regulations and company QA standards.

  • Support commissioning and handover activities, including snag resolution.

  • Maintain site records, permits, and toolbox talks.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Electrician (National Craft Certificate or equivalent).

  • 3–5+ years’ experience in a supervisory or foreman role within the electrical contracting sector.

  • Proven experience delivering commercial fit-out or office refurbishment projects.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical installation standards, safety regulations, and testing procedures.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.

  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
