About Your New Role
In this role, you’ll take charge of the financial and contractual management of diverse electrical projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions to secure new business
- Managing all aspects of budget control, valuations, and contractual negotiations from project inception to completion
- Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure comprehensive financial tracking and reporting
- Overseeing procurement processes, tracking project variations, and ensuring timely invoicing and financial close-out
- Contributing to risk management, value engineering, and the implementation of cost-saving initiatives
What Skills You Need
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the electrical, M&E, or construction industry
- Third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline
- Strong expertise in project financials, contract law, and cost management
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant estimating software
