About Your New Job

As the Electrical Project Manager, you will:

  • Oversee electrical maintenance and fault-response activities across the Cork/Kerry region, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required contractual and regulatory standards.
  • Lead and support your team, managing performance, priorities and development while promoting a strong safety and continuous-improvement culture.
  • Manage project planning, budgets, resources, risks and stakeholder communication from initial works through to successful project completion.
  • Monitor project KPIs, attend site visits and maintain accurate project dashboards and reports.
  • Work closely with clients, internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

What Skills You Need

  • Level 8 Degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management or Civil Engineering, with a Level 6 Craft Electrical qualification required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing electrical projects, ideally with experience in RECI Testing & Verification and public lighting or utilities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of electrical systems, relevant standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Experience with project management systems/software such as Microsoft Project; experience with Proworks, Deadsure or Skillko would be advantageous.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and resources.
