About Your New Job

As a Senior Electrical Project Manager, you will take full ownership of the successful delivery of large-scale electrical projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and final handover. You'll lead project teams, develop strong client relationships and ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Working on some of Ireland's most prestigious construction projects, you'll collaborate with senior management, consultants, subcontractors and clients while mentoring the next generation of project engineers and project managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful delivery of large-scale electrical projects from inception to completion.

  • Manage Project Managers, Project Engineers, Site Managers and subcontractors across multiple workstreams.

  • Take ownership of project programmes, procurement strategies and resource planning.

  • Manage project budgets, cost control, variations and overall commercial performance.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, design teams and key stakeholders.

  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with all health & safety, quality and environmental standards.

  • Chair project meetings and provide regular progress updates to senior leadership.

  • Drive commissioning, snagging and successful project handover.

  • Mentor and develop junior engineers and project delivery teams.

  • Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to ensure successful delivery.

What You'll Need

  • Qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or a trade related qualification. 

  • Significant experience delivering large-scale electrical projects with an M&E contractor.

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager on major commercial, pharmaceutical, healthcare, industrial or data centre projects.

  • Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and contractual obligations.

  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environment.

  • Strong technical understanding of electrical building services installations and current regulations.

  • Full driving licence.
