About Your New Job
As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you will support the project delivery team across a range of electrical installations, helping to plan, design, and execute works on-site. This is an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on experience across all stages of project delivery — from design coordination and procurement to installation, testing, and commissioning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the preparation of technical drawings, schematics, and material take-offs.
- Supporting project engineers and site supervisors in daily site coordination and quality checks.
- Assisting with documentation, test packs, and progress reporting.
- Participating in site meetings, liaising with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.
- Supporting commissioning, testing, and handover activities.
What You Need
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 6+ months experience in an electrical engineering, contracting, or site-based role.
- Strong technical understanding of electrical systems, drawings, and installations.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop within a fast-paced engineering environment.
