About Your New Job

As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering large-scale electrical projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover. Working alongside the Project Manager and wider site team, you will coordinate technical activities, manage subcontractors, liaise with clients and consultants, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager in the successful delivery of electrical projects.
  • Coordinate electrical subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
  • Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
  • Assist with procurement, material scheduling and resource planning.
  • Monitor project progress against programme and prepare progress reports.
  • Ensure installations are completed in accordance with current regulations, quality standards and project specifications.
  • Attend client, consultant and subcontractor meetings.
  • Assist with commissioning, snagging and final project handover.
  • Promote a strong health and safety culture across all project activities.

What You'll Need

  • Degree or qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience as an Electrical Project Engineer or similar role within an M&E contractor.
  • Experience delivering commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, healthcare or data centre projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services installations.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Full driving licence.
