Senior EHS Advisor – Cork Based - Up to €75,000 per annum + Vehicle

About Your New Job

As a Senior EHS Advisor, you will:

  • Develop, implement, and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to proactively identify and mitigate hazards before work starts.
  • Carry out daily site safety walk-throughs and comprehensive audits to ensure full compliance with company policies and Irish Health & Safety legislation.
  • Lead safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training to promote safety engagement and best practice among all site staff and contractors.
  • Monitor, investigate, and report on accidents, incidents, and near-misses, driving effective preventative and corrective actions.
  • Maintain up-to-date safety compliance records, update Construction Safety Plans, and compile regular safety performance reports.
  • Share knowledge and act as a key point of contact for project teams, contractors, and clients.

What Skills You Need

  • 3+ years’ proven experience in construction site health and safety, with a solid understanding of the Irish construction market.
  • Relevant third-level degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (e.g., NEBOSH or IOSH-qualified).
  • In-depth knowledge of current HSA guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Full clean Driver’s Licence (Class B) required.
