About Your New Job as a Design Assurance Engineer:
- As the Design Assurance Engineer, you will support the integration of acquired product lines onto the Galway platform.
- You will drive design assurance activities, ensuring robust design control, risk management, and regulatory compliance throughout the integration program.
- Provide technical expertise on product and process changes, supporting cross-functional teams with Quality input into design and development decisions.
- Champion the application of quality principles, including change control and CAPA, maintaining the highest standards of compliance.
What Skills You Need
- Proven design assurance experience; relevant Quality or Product Development experience also considered.
- Minimum NFQ Level 8 degree in Science, Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of design control and risk management for medical devices.
- Experience with Class II or Class III medical devices is essential.
- Solid understanding of general quality principles (change control, CAPA, compliance).
- Beneficial but not essential: Exposure to medical electrical systems.
- Ideally, previous experience within a leading company such as BSC (Boston Scientific) or similar.
