We are currently recruiting for three permanent positions:

  • Part Time, One 30 hour per week contract
  • Part Time, One 22.5 hour per week contract
  • Full Time, One 40 hour per week contract.

Our client are a well established provider of roadside assistance, insurance, and motoring services, supporting customers across Ireland 24/7. 

As a Breakdown Assistance Customer Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for members and customers who require urgent roadside support. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling inbound calls from customers requiring breakdown and roadside assistance
  • Quickly and accurately capturing essential information to arrange appropriate support
  • Delivering professional, empathetic customer service, often in high-pressure situations
  • Meeting agreed service levels and performance targets while maintaining quality standards
  • Managing objections, resolving issues, and escalating complex cases 
  • Creating a positive first impression with every interaction
  • Contributing to team improvement initiatives through feedback and collaboration
  • Working a flexible shift pattern, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays (shift premiums apply to qualifying hours)

Training & Working Pattern

  • Permanent contracts (40 hours, 30 hours or 22.5 hours per week)
  • Paid, in-person training for 5 weeks, Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm (Dublin 2)
  • Following training, you will move to your contracted part-time hours and a hybrid working model, with regular office attendance required

Essential skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 2 year’s experience in a Contact / Call centre role
  • Proven experience in similar industry, Financial Services or Insurance
  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
  • Strong problem solving ability, especially in urgent or time sensitive situations
  • High attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Reliable, motivated, and results driven
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Ability to attend the Dublin 2 office regularly, particularly during training.

Pay & Career Progression

  • Starting salary: €27,750 FTE, plus shift premiums (OTE €30,000–€35,000 in year one)
  • Experienced agents may start on up to €35,000 FTE, depending on experience
  • Part Time salaries are pro-rated based on contracted hours
  • Clear career pathway, with potential progression to €42,000 FTE within approximately 2–2.5 years
