Contracts Manager required in County Wicklow, Medium-Sized Building Contractor

About Your New Job

As Contracts Manager, you will oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the company’s high-quality standards. You’ll play a key leadership role — managing project teams, liaising with clients, and providing strategic input across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple construction projects from pre-construction through to completion.

  • Ensure compliance with contract terms, quality standards, and health & safety regulations.

  • Oversee project planning, resourcing, and delivery in line with agreed timelines and budgets.

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain strong working relationships.

  • Monitor project progress and provide regular reports to senior management.

  • Support and mentor project managers, site managers, and engineers to achieve company objectives.

What You Need to Have

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 7+ years’ experience in the construction industry, including 2+ years in a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager role.

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering residential and/or commercial building projects.

  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

  • Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and project controls.

  • Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as required.
