About Your New Job

  • As Contracts Manager, you will develop and manage project budgets and cost plans.
  • You will lead multiple project teams, ensuring the timely and on-scope delivery of contracts.
  • Collaborate directly with key stakeholders to successfully deliver all aspects of assigned client projects.
  • Manage and assess the quality of subcontractor work while ensuring adherence to Health & Safety legislation.
  • Support the Project Surveyor in managing contract costs, variations, and provide regular cost projections to the Construction Director.
  • Identify and manage project risks, ensuring early intervention with design teams to meet deliverables and deadlines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Plan and schedule project activities with high accuracy and develop material procurement schedules aligned with project timelines.

What Skills You Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services, or Trade Qualification.
  • Over 10 years of experience in construction or a related industry.
  • Track record of managing large-scale commercial, industrial, or residential projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and run large crews of trades staff and operatives.
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
