You will be joining a project-driven environment where quality delivery, safety, and efficiency are central to how work is executed on site. This is a hands-on construction environment with strong exposure to renewable energy project delivery from start to commissioning.

About Your New Job

As Construction Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of a 12–14MW solar project in Cork from mobilisation through to completion and commissioning.

In this role you will:

  • Oversee all site operations from initial setup through to project handover
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site activities to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Ensure strict compliance with health & safety standards and enforce site procedures at all times
  • Monitor progress against programme and report updates to senior project stakeholders
  • Manage site resources including labour, plant, and materials to ensure efficiency and cost control
  • Lead site meetings and act as the key point of contact for on-site coordination and issue resolution

This is a key leadership role on site, requiring strong ownership, decision-making, and the ability to drive progress while maintaining quality and safety standards.

What Skills You Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction site management (renewable energy or infrastructure preferred)
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, site coordination, and health & safety compliance
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
  • Proven experience managing subcontractors and delivering projects to programme and budget
