Construction Projects Administrator
Location: Newry / Banbridge Co. Down.
Salary: Competitive DOE
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-3pm
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised administrator with experience in construction, engineering or project environments who enjoys coordinating project information, tracking progress and supporting project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of project programmes and schedules.
- Monitor project progress and update reports for management teams.
- Coordinate project documentation, drawings and site information.
- Maintain procurement trackers, change logs and programme records.
- Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to ensure information is issued on time.
- Support project meetings by preparing reports, minutes and action trackers.
- Help identify programme risks, delays and scheduling issues.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, organised and up to date.
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in a Project Administrator, Construction Administrator, Project Coordinator or similar role.
- Experience working within construction, engineering, manufacturing or related sectors.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
Desirable
- Knowledge of project planning or scheduling processes.
- Experience using Asta Powerproject, MS Project or similar software.
- Understanding of construction project delivery and site operations.
