We’re looking for a proactive and motivated Compliance Officer to join a professional organisation and play a key role in ensuring high standards of vetting, accreditation, and member support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full Vetting lifecycle, from application through to clearance

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and best practice guidelines

  • Review applications, verify identities, and maintain secure records

  • Monitor vetting compliance and proactively follow up on outstanding cases

  • Prepare reports and support decision making panels

  • Stay up to date on regulatory changes and vetting procedures

  • Process membership, accreditation, and CPD applications

  • Respond to member queries in a professional and timely manner

  • Provide administrative support to committees and internal stakeholders

  • Support events, presentations, and organisational activities

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Relevant third level qualification in related field

  • Interest in education, training, or the professional sector

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative or regulatory environment 

  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • High level of IT proficiency (MS Office essential) and CRM systems

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative

  • Professional, calm, and approachable manner
