Reporting to the Compliance Manager, the Compliance Officer will play a key role within the compliance function, providing second line of defence support and guidance to business areas across the organisation.
About Your New Job
- As Compliance Officer, you will support the delivery of the Compliance Plan, promote a strong compliance culture, and assist the business in meeting its regulatory obligations through advice, monitoring, training and ongoing stakeholder engagement.
- As a Compliance Officer, you will complete compliance monitoring, contribute to regulatory reporting, and maintain key compliance records and registers.
- You will collaborate closely with the Compliance team and stakeholders to promote a strong compliance and risk culture, assisting in training, incident resolution, and process improvement.
- You will play a vital role in helping the organisation meet its regulatory obligations and foster a culture of transparency and continuous improvement.
What Skills You Need
- Experience working in Compliance, Risk, Insurance, Internal Audit, or another regulated environment.
- A relevant professional or third-level qualification, or a demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in compliance.
- Familiarity with insurance regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess information, identify key issues, and prioritise actions effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and stakeholders.
