This role is with an established precision manufacturing company based in Longford, specialising in complex, high-quality components for aerospace and other high-specification sectors. About Your New Job
- Set up and operate CNC lathes to manufacture components accurately in line with technical drawings and work orders.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T and specifications to ensure parts meet required standards.
- Carry out first-off inspections and regularly measure critical dimensions, recording quality checks as required.
- Complete production, quality and work-order documentation, ensuring completed batches are correctly prepared for the next operation.
- Maintain CNC equipment and a clean, safe working environment while following all health & safety procedures and PPE requirements.
What Skills You Need
- Previous experience setting up and operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings and understand GD&T.
- Strong attention to detail with experience using measuring and inspection equipment.
- Commitment to health & safety, quality standards and maintaining a clean and organised work area.
